There May be a Reason Your Car Insurance Is so High
Are you a bad driver? You may not think so, but your driving
record may tell your auto insurance company otherwise. A bad driver is one who
has a tendency to speed, tailgate, drive through stop signs and red lights, forgets
to put on a seatbelt, and is generally a danger to other drivers on the road.
Do you have a high auto insurance rate and just can’t figure out why? It may be
time to look at the way you drive and how many citations and moving violations
you have on your driving record. You should be aware of your record and know it
well because your auto insurance company does, and your rates reflect it.
There are of course other reasons why your auto insurance
rates are high. Driving a Ferrari is going to immediately raise your rates
simply because the cost of repairing it if you did have an accident would be
astronomical. If you are driving a Ford van you probably won’t have that issue
and your rates will reflect that to a certain extent. Auto insurance is all about
risk. The greater the risk of spending money on insurance claims, the higher
the insurance rates will be.
